Jesus over religion.

Religion is a particular system of faith and worship.

There are several religions – Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism….etc.
BUT only ONE Jesus!

Religion puts up barriers and alienates many,
Jesus tears down those barriers and welcomes one and all

What is more important to you: Being religious or being Christ-like?
I choose Jesus over religion … you should too! 😊

A necklace proudly displayed
A necklace of worth and value
Each pearl, beautiful as the setting of the sun
Pearls held together by the thread of Grace
Grace unmerited and undeserved
A reflection of eachother with interaction 
The creator’s workmanship
And Reflectors of the His glory.
You are the perfect verse to the unrestrained rhythm of His Grace!

Fruit bearer or consumer?

The presence or absence of visible fruit in you and the quality of said fruit is dependent on your Nutrient source – DrDERO

A tree bears fruit when it is properly tended to, given the right nutrients and enough water.

We are all trees planted in GOD’s vineyard and within us, He put the potential to bear fruit.

But… Most people are not bearing fruit! 

The ‘why’ could be several things:


– What nutrients do you expose yourself to?
– Do you ensure that your roots allow water and nutrients to travel up the tree of your life?
– Do you put in more effort to stretch your roots to a farther and less growth stimulating nutrient source or do you stretch your roots deeper and wider in your immediate surrounding, where GOD has provided surplus nutrients?
– How permeable are you to these nutrients?

These Nutrients are the Word of GOD, and the water is the Spirit of GOD.
How permeable are we to GOD’s Word?
Do we resist the Holy Spirit in our lives? 

I believe these are some reasons why we bear no fruit. Instead, we are consumers, always taking but never replenishing.


Now is the time to check within and examine our roots.

May GOD help us in Jesus name – Amen.
