Self -Induced Peacelessness

We are architects of the lack of peace that plagues us!

Self- induced peacelessness!

How you ask?

Through disobedience to GOD! And reliance on self!

Our mantra ought to be.. “where He leads I will follow”.

Disobedience towards GOD brings chaos and disorder into our lives. We lose the plot when we take our eyes off Him! We go astray when we focus on our selves. We sink when we focus on the storm!

The only way to calm the chaos and storm, is to invite Jesus into the boat of our lives and keep our eyes fixed upon Him.

Isaiah 26 verse 3 says [He] will keep him in perfect peacewhose mind is stayed on [Him] because he trusts in [Him]. [Him] is GOD

And just like He did to the sea, He will speak “Peace be still” to calm every storm raging and fear rising and there will be a great calm!

Mark 4 verse 39 says “Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ Then the wind ceased and there was a great calm.”

Can two walk together except they agree?

If it does not make sense structurally, physiologically, naturally…. Then it most probably is not meant to be.

It is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, making it somewhat fit and claiming that it works.

Can two work together except they be agreed? – Amos 3vs 3

We can explain many things away and use emotions, logic, empathy, eros …. as clutches but some things cannot be contradicted just as gravity exists.

Can that idea, relationship, business….. come together and produce worthwhile, abiding fruit (success) if there is no natural agreement in values, nature, being …?

Unwillingness to get uncomfortable with self/ situation examination, will result in unnecessary stress-inducing realities that require more energy and effort to resolve.

May our ears to open to listen.

May our eyes be opened to see.

May our hearts be teachable to understand.

However, pencils can be blunt or sharpened?

The can be full of lead or empty.

Which are you?

Blunt and empty pencils are illegible; they convey limited or no message.

As a pencil , will you be available to be filled with lead?

Will you submit to be sharpened often so that you will remain useful; useful in writing GOD’s love letter to humanity?

You letter to humanity includes your gifts, talents, resources, innovations… everything you’ve been blessed with in order to make the world, your world, someone else’s world a better place.

But now, LORD, you are our father. We are the clay, and you are our potter. All of us are the work of your hand. – Isaiah 64 vs. 8
