Sight Vs. Vision

Your sight is your present situation but your vision is what you expect for your future.

Are you looking to see the whole staircase before taking that next step?

The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6 (ERV)

5 Trust the Lord completely (without reservation, without doubt, without questioning), and don’t depend on your own knowledge (sight, thinking, perspective). 6 With every step (every decision, action, move) you take, think about what (H)e wants (the very BEST for you, good and not evil), and (H)e will help you go the right way.

This means that we must take the next step even when we don’t see the whole staircase.

Why?
We only know in part what God has already ordained cc 1 Corinthians 13:9

Until we see what God says in His Word concerning us, we will continue to hesitate about taking the next step even when God is prompting us up that staircase.

Therefore we must:
….stand like a guard and watch. …. wait to see what the Lord will say …. ….wait and learn how he answers … questions. cc Habakkuk 2:1

Stand at alert and hear what the directions for that next step is…then follow through.

Change your perspective today so you can see what the future holds and not just what today presents.
